Contact our office or use the form on this page to setup your online lessons.
Thurrock Music Services use Microsoft Teams for all online lesson delivery.
An e-mail will be sent to you with all the instruction needed to get your lesson started.
How it works
What you will need
A computer with a microphone and a webcam. Most laptops have these built in. Tablets & smart phones should also work OK.
A broadband connection.
Somewhere suitable for your lesson to take place with minimum distractions and interruptions.
Good lighting so your teacher can see you and your instrument.
NB A wired connection tends to be more reliable than a WiFi connection.
Restart your broadband router if your router has not been restarted recently.

Cost
Thurrock Music Services is please to offer online instrumental and vocal tution to students currently learning with the Service. The lessons are available to anyone who currently has lesson in a Thurrock school or at one of the Music Centres such as Hassenbrook (Saturday morning), Palmers College (Wednesday evening) Rock School (Gable Hall Monday evenings) or High House Production Park (Tuesday and Thursday evenings). The 15 minute lessons will be available via Microsoft Teams and will cover all instrumental and vocal tuition offered by the Service as well as theory and aural lessons.
All online lessons, including school based lessons, should be booked directly with the Music Service and not through the schools. Please contact Thurrock Music Services via music.services@thurrock.gov.uk
